As a blogger I mostly divide my work between my phone and computer. The part of being a blogger is, what’s often not visible, are the regular office days that include a lot of writing, researching, planning and communication. So here are the main reason why I switched my old laptop to the new Acer Swift 5.

1. It’s portable
It’s super slim and light (less than 1kg) which helps as I often work in the city or while we’re explore Switzerland, so I can just put it in my bag and go from one place to another. Plus the minimalist, metal design ensures I work in style.

2. Long life battery
Won’t run out on me due to its 10h battery life, so it means that I don’t have to charge it throughout the working day. I love it – when I have a lot of tasks and meetings – I don’t have to worry about finding the nearest socket or searching for my charger – I can focus on getting things done and charge it in the evening when I’m done with work for the day.

3. It’s so fast!
The Intel Core i7 processors make all the applications load fast and allow many tasks run at the same time with ease. To me, as a person with my head always full and who’s multi-tasking throughout the day – no lags and fast response are essential.

4. The display
The 15.6″ display with accurate colors and increased clarity – it’s very important to me as I edit most of my pictures and plan my content for the blog on the computer. The touchscreen makes it also convenient to work and navigate the applications with ease.

5. The audio
I can only work with music in the background and the Acer’s TrueHarmony speakers combined with Dolby Audio Premium provides the best quality of audio.

6. Not only for work, but also for play
And well, there’s that one other reason of course. For my free time. I love watching movies and using my Swift 5 for it always feels like being in a private mini-cinema. The quality of image and sound is really amazing. And I actually use it for everything else – online shopping, Skype with my family – summing up: it’s the perfect device for pretty much any reason you could need a computer.
